I began this SCMALT portfolio to enable me to reflect and build upon my CMALT accreditation, completed in 2016, and updated in 2020. Since then, I have completed a Doctorate in Education, undertaken wider learning technology-related research and developed further FE sector management, consultancy and mentoring roles and responsibilities. I have also significantly built my professional network in learning technology-related areas, so it is time to write a new chapter and ensure that my accreditation better matches my professional role and career trajectory.

Curation of this portfolio has been immensely valuable in terms of spurring reflection on my expertise and has enabled me to see my career trajectory and where my passions for education and technology lie more clearly.  This activity has been all the more meaningful, coming as it has at the end of two years which have radically changed our personal and professional lives and put a completely fresh onus on the importance of learning technology for educators working in post-16 education.

Updated content for the re-submission of this portfolio in May 2023 is shown shaded with a pale grey background to distinguish it from original submission content.
